A slow, noisy, or half-compromised machine is not a personality trait. It is lost hours, leaked credentials, and a team that has learned to work around the tool instead of with it. Most 'IT help' is a script run while nobody is watching.
Computer optimization here is care for the machines you actually sit in front of: clean-up, hardening, and tuning so they perform the way they should. It is remote only, in a live session from anywhere while you watch every step. Same senior engineer as the websites. No ticket queue dressed up as a retainer.

- Who
- One person, or a business. We confirm how many computers before we invoice.
- How
- Remote only, in a live screen share while you watch. About ninety minutes per computer.
- Pay
- Computer optimization is remote only. We confirm the computers and send the invoice. It does not use the website engagement retainer or an hourly rate.
What a tune-up actually does
We read the machine the way we read a codebase: startup load, leftover software, browser profiles, disk and memory pressure, obvious malware and PUPs, outdated runtimes, and the accounts that should not still be signed in. Then we remove what does not belong, patch what is behind, and leave a written note of what changed.
Hardening is part of the pass, not an upsell. Disk encryption where it is missing, a password manager if there is none, browser and OS update posture, and a short list of the habits that will undo the work in a month.
Remote sessions
Tell us how many computers and whether they are personal or for the business. We confirm the scope and send the invoice. Nothing is charged from this page. Each computer is about ninety minutes, with a measured before and after. If the work needs more time, we ask first and you decide.
You stay in control. We connect with Microsoft Quick Assist, a free app already on most Windows PCs, or with Chrome Remote Desktop, using a one-time code. You watch the screen the whole time, you can end it in one click, and access ends when the session does. We never ask for your passwords, we do not open your files, and we do not record the session unless you ask us to.
One-time or ongoing
A session is one-time. If you want a person who already knows your machines and checks in, that sits inside managed care. This is not a helpdesk for thirty people; it is care for the computers a founder or a small team lives on.
If the real problem is the website those machines publish to, that is managed website care. If the real problem is an internal tool that should not live in a spreadsheet, that is Software Development. We will say which.
